Great little cafe in Botanical gardens, polite and friendly staff and relaxed quiet atmosphere. After sunny walk from Demachiyanagi along river (kingfisher, egret, herons) welcome refreshments and tasty food. Ticket menu system for ordering food with translated menu card avaliable.

I appreciated the English menu, interesting menu items (using udon with wild plants, and deer meat curry), and relatively low prices. Think of it as a simple cafeteria, and I don't think you'll be disappointed. Also, the yuzu gelato / ice cream was very refreshing on a hot day!
